When Season 1 came to a close, Ratched and her lover, Gwendolyn Briggs, were escaping to Mexico. But her brother Edmund is also missing, as is his accomplice Charlotte Wells. In addition, Nurse Bucket is determined to exact revenge on Ratched after seizing control of Lucia State Hospital.
Ratched’s journey into the unknown will not end. Ratched has to make some difficult decisions in Season 1 in order to survive. She consequently starts to lose her empathy and harden herself.
