Re: Zero is obviously popular because its first three arcs have been turned into independent manga series in addition to numerous anthology series drawn by various artists. By then, an anime was almost a given.

Is There a Re Zero Season 3 Release Date?
As of November 2023, there is no official release date for Re Zero Season 3. Season 3 of Re Zero is not anticipated to debut until at least October 2024, despite the production team’s continued efforts. Re Zero Season 3 is therefore unlikely to be released anytime soon.
The release is still a few years off, most likely not happening until October 2024 or April 2025. You may be confident that we will notify you as soon as the release date is confirmed! When the airdate is announced, we’ll be among the first to report it.
A glimpse of promise! News regarding Re: ZERO -Starting Life in Another World’s third season should be available at Anime Japan in March 2024 or, if there is one, via the Kadokawa livestream in December 2023.
The anime Re Zero is well known for its personnel and studio issues. We patiently awaited the second season for this reason. Looks like Season 3 of Re Zero won’t be airing for a few more years.
Re: Zero Season 3 Cast: Who Is Returning?
We can presume that the third season of Re: Zero will have the same cast members who returned for a second season, including:
- Sean Chiplock (English) / Yūsuke Kobayashi as Subaru Natsuki (Japanese)
- Emilia (Japanese) played by Rie Takahashi and Kayli Mills (English)
- Aldebaran (Japanese) / Keith Silverstein (English) / Keiji Fujiwara
- Yui Horie portraying Sarah Williams (English) / Felix Argyle (Japanese)
- Yukari Tamura portrays Faye Mata in English and Priscilla Barielle in Japanese.
Re Zero Season 3: Arc 5 and Arc 6 in Season 3?
Arcs five and six, which are set in Priestella and the Pleiades Watchtower, respectively, will be adapted for season three. In order to appropriately adapt both arcs, over fifty episodes would be needed, hence season three will probably consist of four courses. It’s also likely that season three and season four will be divided into two separate seasons.
Re Zero’s anime adaption, which has so far adapted volumes 1 through 15, is largely true to the light book. A couple more anime seasons might be feasible, considering that the light book is still in progress. Volumes 16 through 20 of the light novel are anticipated to be adapted for Arc 5 in Season 3, and volumes 21 through 25 for Arc 6.
Arc 8 out of 12 is where the series is at the moment. Depending on how well this season sells, Re Zero may get a fourth, fifth, or even more season. It’s doing so well that a full adaptation is probably in the works, which is always good to see! (Even if it requires ten or fifteen years)

Is There a Trailer for Re: Zero Season 3?
A two-minute teaser for the third season was also unveiled by Kadokawa during the same event at AnimeJapan 2023.
With a bird’s journey across the cityscapes taking up half of the running time, the trailer is undoubtedly a teaser before Subaru, Emilia, Ram, and the others are finally shown for a few seconds.
They appear to be up against something significant, but we’ll have to wait and see what it is.
